The GTJ Komplex is for the rider who notices details. It is an open face helmet with a glossy shell, a graphic design, and a set of features that do their work without calling attention to themselves.
The GTJ series is SMK's open face line for tourers and urban riders. This is the Komplex in gloss, and there is a matching matt Komplex if you prefer a flat finish. The full line is in our SMK GTJ helmets.
The Komplex graphic is built from sharp, interlocking panels that sweep back from the brow across the crown, with fine line texture running through them and large SMK lettering along the side. It looks fast even when parked.
The idea
Gloss gives the paint depth, and the long visor and inner sun visor mean you can change from a bright street to a shaded one without stopping.
Look closely and you will find the thought that went into it: the visor mechanism, the vent sliders, the strap. These details make the helmet easy to live with every day.

Sizes and shells
Two shells, five sizes. The lighter M shell (about 1,450 g) goes with sizes S and M, and the L shell (about 1,550 g) goes with L, XL and XXL. Weights can vary by around 50 g. Safety standards
Certified to ISI, DOT and ECE 22.06, which are the Indian, American and latest European standards. The label inside lists them. Because the face is open, this is a helmet for slower, shorter and scenic rides more than for fast highway work.
Keeping it clean
