If the helmet you want is black, the SMK Nova Track Matt is worth a look. Most colourways start with a matt black shell and add graphics in red, blue, grey or neon green, so you get a black helmet that still has some personality.
Two options break from the black. Magenta Chrome and Crystal Chrome are metallic finishes that give the Track Matt a different look from the usual dark matt helmet.
Colours and how they look
Black/Red, Black/Blue, Black/Grey and Black/Grey/Red are the safe choices and work on any bike. Black/Fluorescent Green is for riders who want to be seen. Magenta Chrome and Crystal Chrome are the showpieces. All seven colours come in S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Protection and certification
This helmet meets three standards: ECE 22.06, DOT and ISI. The shell is energy impact resistant thermoplastic, made in two shell sizes, and the multi-density EPS liner inside is there to absorb crashes of different severity.
Visor and airflow
The visor lifts and locks with a single touch. It is scratch resistant, optically corrected and comes with a Pinlock 30 insert. Air enters through the front vents, moves through internal channels and leaves via rear exhausts. A breath deflector reduces fogging, and a wind protector at the chin cuts noise.
Fit and comfort

Matt versus gloss
