Why riders pick a matt helmet
A matt shell gives a quieter look on naked bikes, cruisers and commuters, and it suits riders who dislike shiny paint. Light scratches and swirl marks are far less visible than on gloss, which helps if the helmet is hung on a bike or carried in a bag every day.
Caring for matt paint
