BluArmor C60 Bluetooth Communicator

The BluArmor C60 is made for riders who don't want a ceiling on group size. RIDEGRID 2.0 PRO has no rider limit, and it moves between direct mesh and the cloud-based eRIDEGRID automatically, so a ride can start tight and finish stretched across a long highway without anyone having to reconnect. It is the base model of the C60 series from BluArmor.

What sets it apart from the C40 is what you can do with all those riders. Mesh conversations can be recorded to your phone or action camera. Music Lounge gives you a private music group, Private Call lets you talk to one rider without the whole group listening, and 1-to-many music sharing lets one rider play a track for everyone.

Controls are flexible. Use the glove-friendly 3-button module on the helmet, the 360 app, or the hey! BLU voice assistant. The T-Stick handlebar remote is compatible but sold separately. Motion Sense crash detection with auto SOS is built in.

A 3.5 mm audio output is available through the MagDock 2.0 module, also sold separately, if you want to use speakers or earphones of your own. BluArmor points out that in-ear earphones reduce surrounding noise, so keep them for closed circuits and check local rules before using them on public roads.

Which BluArmor C60 series model should you pick?

The C60 is the right starting point if you want the full RIDEGRID 2.0 PRO feature set and are happy to add accessories later. The C60Plus puts the T-Stick handlebar remote in the box. The C60Pro includes MagDock 2.0, the 3.5 mm audio harness and the T-Stick, along with RIDEAURA visibility alerts. All three share the same mesh.

If your group never goes past 20 riders, the BluArmor C40 gets you most of the way for less.

FAQs

Q: How many riders can connect on the BluArmor C60, and what is the range?

A: As many as you need. RIDEGRID 2.0 PRO has no rider cap, 1.2 km line-of-sight range applies between two riders, and usable range grows with each rider. eRIDEGRID removes the range ceiling by running over the cloud.

Q: Does the C60 fit my helmet?

A: It is designed for most full-face, modular and open-face helmets. The ClickDock kit in the box mounts without permanent modification, and the slim profile sits flush against the shell. Our helmet fitting guide covers how to check that your helmet fits you properly in the first place.

Q: How does crash detection work on the C60?

A: Motion Sense is calibrated for real riding, so a pothole or a sharp brake should not set it off. On a serious impact it triggers an auto SOS and notifies your emergency contact.

Q: How long does the C60 battery last?

A: BluArmor rates it at 20 hours of audio playback and 18 hours of audio with mesh. With MagDock 2.0 and auto deceleration alert in use, it comes to 16 hours. For mixed real-world riding the brand quotes 16+ hours.

Q: What is the difference between the BluArmor C60, C60Plus and C60Pro?

A: The mesh and audio are the same on all three. The C60 is the base unit. The C60Plus adds the T-Stick handlebar remote. The C60Pro adds MagDock 2.0, the 3.5 mm aux harness and the T-Stick, which brings RIDEAURA visibility assist, auto deceleration alert and hazard light alerts.

Q: Can I use my own earphones or speakers with the C60?

A: Yes, through the 3.5 mm output on the MagDock 2.0 module, which is sold separately. In-ear earphones cut out surrounding noise, so BluArmor recommends them only on closed circuits.

Q: Can the C60 record group conversations?

A: Yes. Mesh call recording saves the conversation to your phone or an action camera, so you can replay the ride chatter later.
