Axor Racer Tec Riding Boots for Racing and Track Days
The Axor Racer Tec racing riding boots are made for riders who want maximum coverage. The 14 inch height protects more of your lower leg than a standard short boot, and every panel that is likely to take an impact is covered.
If you ride on the track or push hard on a sport bike, this is the boot to look at first.
Protection
- TPU shin protection with an Axor logo on the shin
- Dedicated TPU ankle protection
- TPU protection at the back of the boot
- TPU gear shifter panel to guard against lever wear
- Aluminium toe slider for sliding contact
- 14 inch shaft for extra lower leg coverage
Visibility, comfort and grip
A reflector at the back and reflective technology on the boot brighten up when light falls on them, which helps other road users spot you at night or in poor visibility. Soft padding on the inside makes long track sessions easier on your feet, and the rubber sole gives support and grip on the pegs. A YKK zipper keeps the tall shaft quick to fasten.
The outer shell is synthetic leather with a polyester mesh lining.
Who these boots suit
Track day riders, club racers and street riders on sport bikes who want race spec track riding boots. They are best in dry and warm conditions. For long highway tours, a lighter touring boot will be more comfortable to walk in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Are the Axor Racer Tec boots suitable for the track?
A1: Yes. They are the race spec boot in the Axor range, with a 14 inch shaft, ankle TPU, shin and back protection and an aluminium toe slider. Always check your track's own kit rules before a session.
Q2: How is the Racer Tec different from the Slipstream PRO?
A2: The Racer Tec adds dedicated ankle TPU, a taller 14 inch shaft, an aluminium toe slider and reflective detailing. The Slipstream PRO is the lighter sport boot for riders who want protection without the full race build.
Q3: Are these boots waterproof?
A3: No, they are water resistant and fine for a light shower, but they are not waterproof. Axor suggests drying them naturally after a wet ride.
Q4: Will I be able to walk comfortably in these?
A4: The inner padding helps, but a tall race boot is stiffer than a touring boot. It is great on the bike and in the paddock. For all day walking, the Axor Touring Rambler is more relaxed.
Q5: How do I choose my size and keep the boots clean?
A5: Measure your foot, compare it with the chart on this page and pick the larger size if you are in between. For fit tips see our riding boots buying guide, and for care see our riding boots cleaning guide.
