SMK Retro Jet Pinstripe Matt Helmet

₹4,600.00
Quick Overview

The SMK Retro Jet Pinstripe Matt is an open face helmet with a matt finish, a matt shell and a goggle friendly setup. It is certified to ISI, DOT and ECE 22.06.

Sizes S to XXL on two shell sizes, with a one year manufacturer warranty.

Fine lines look sharper on a quiet background. The SMK Retro Jet Pinstripe in a matt finish pairs a flat, glare free shell with the leather trimmed comfort of the Retro Jet series.

It is a modern take on a classic jet helmet. If you want it shiny, look at the gloss Pinstripe. Every model is listed on our SMK open face helmets page.

Fine lines trace the shell on the Pinstripe, curling from the brow around the visor pivot and back, with a broad band finishing the lower edge. The look is precise and old school.

What makes it a good ride

A matt shell does not show fingerprints, and the removable visor and side plates let you ride with goggles when the weather is right for it.

If you like your helmet to match the tone of an older bike, the flat paint and leather trimmed inside have that understated feeling.

Choosing a size

Two shells, five sizes. The lighter M shell (about 1,450 g) goes with sizes S and M, and the L shell (about 1,550 g) goes with L, XL and XXL. Weights can vary by around 50 g. Measure above the eyebrows and read your size off the chart above. Our helmet fitting guide shows what a good fit feels like.

Certification

Certified to ISI, DOT and ECE 22.06, which are the Indian, American and latest European standards. The label inside lists them. Because the face is open, this is a helmet for slower, shorter and scenic rides more than for fast highway work.

Care

Matt paint does not take polish or wax well, since they leave shiny patches. Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and do not rub one spot hard. The helmet maintenance guide has more.

Warranty

The helmet comes with a one year manufacturer warranty.
