Axor Retro Jet Bee Open Face Helmet
The Axor Retro Jet Bee is an open face helmet with a hand illustrated bee, drawn in fine pen and ink with labelled anatomy notes. Lightweight ABS shell, quilted padding, vegan leather trim and a bubble visor on chrome studs.
ECE 22.06 certified, up to 1,250 g, sizes M to XL.
Open the Bee helmet and it looks like a page from a naturalist's notebook. A bee drawn in fine pen and ink covers the shell, with tiny labelled callouts for the antennae, mandibles, hindwing and other parts.
The shell itself is lightweight ABS, topped with a bubble visor held on chrome side studs. Vegan leather trim runs along the visor edge and chin opening. It sits with the other Axor open face helmets in our range.
The illustration
The artwork is drawn like a field sketch, so the helmet stays calm and detailed rather than loud. Up close you can read the labels. From a distance it is just a handsome retro helmet.

- Vegan leather trim with stitched detailing

Safety
Axor lists the helmet as ECE 22.06, ISI and DOT certified. ECE 22.06 is the newest European standard, and the ISI mark is what Indian law asks for on any two wheeler helmet. Check the label inside the helmet when it arrives. As with every open face helmet, your jaw is not covered, so it is meant for city and relaxed riding.
Size selection
Choose from M, L and XL. Take a tape measure, wrap it one inch above your eyebrows and compare with the chart above. Our helmet fitting guide covers what to check once you try it on.
Care
A soft cloth and a little mild soap will do for the shell. Take care around the fine linework and avoid scrubbing. Use the helmet maintenance guide for liner and visor care.
Warranty
The helmet comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. Another illustrated model to compare is the Autumn helmet.
