The Xpulse 210 is built for trail riding, which means its stock paper filter is working harder than one on a purely street-going commuter. This filter uses BMC's multi-layer oiled cotton gauze between two epoxy-coated aluminium mesh frames, made using BMC's Full Moulding process so the filter forms as one piece with no glued seams to fail.
Not to be confused with the older Xpulse 200, which uses a different airbox and has its own dedicated filter.
