Hawaii is the second design in Axor's Retro Girls pair, and it is aimed squarely at riders who spend their days on a scooter. The open face jet shape is easy to wear, and the soft suede liner feels good on warm days.
It is one of the female helmets in our Axor open face helmets, with a bubble visor that sits comfortably over sunglasses.
Made for scooter days
Hawaii keeps things light and simple. The shell is ABS, the weight is up to about 1,100 g, and the cushioned strap with micrometric buckle and lock goes on in seconds. Up front there is a clean bubble visor.
What is in the helmet
- ABS outer shell for impact protection
- High density EPS liner
- Suede type comfort liner
- Handcrafted leather trims along the edges
- Hard coated, UV treated optical grade polycarbonate visor
- Adjustable nylon strap with cushioning
Certification
The helmet is ISI certified. Axor tests it for energy attenuation, penetration resistance and chin strap structural integrity in hot, cold, submerged and ambient conditions. Pick it for city, commute and short trips, since an open face leaves the jaw uncovered.
Sizing
Choose from S, M and L. Start with the size chart above and measure one inch over the eyebrows. If you are between sizes, our helmet fitting guide shows how to check the fit.
Cleaning the liner and visor
The liner is soft suede type fabric, so be gentle. Hand wash it with mild detergent and air dry it fully. Wipe the visor with a soft cloth only. More in our helmet maintenance guide.
Warranty
The helmet comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. Want to compare designs? See the Ibiza women's helmet.
