Step 1: Prep
- Fasten all Velcro and secure the wrist closure so the hook side can't snag or abrade the panels
- Shake out loose dirt, then lift off surface grit with a soft, dry brush FIRST before any wiping, so grit isn't dragged across the leather
Step 2: Routine cleaning (preferred)
- After brushing, wipe the leather and fabric with a clean, damp (not wet) microfiber cloth
- For grime, add a little mild, leather-safe cleaner (or a mild neutral soap) to the microfiber cloth, not to the glove — wipe, don't soak
Step 3: Deeper clean (only if needed)
- Clean by hand with minimal lukewarm water, working quickly; do not soak, machine-wash, or wring
- Wipe away residue with a clean, damp (not wet) microfiber cloth
Step 4: Dry
- Reshape and lay flat in a cool, ventilated, shaded place, away from direct sunlight and any heat source (radiators, heaters, hairdryers) — direct heat stiffens and cracks leather
- While still slightly damp, put the gloves on and flex the fingers and wrists a few times so they dry to the shape of your hand
- Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean
Step 5: Condition
- Once completely dry, work a small amount of leather conditioner into the leather panels with a soft cloth; let it absorb and buff off any excess
- Keep conditioner off the mesh, textile and grip areas
- Repeat occasionally through the glove's life to keep the leather supple
Step 6: Store & General
- Store clean and completely dry, in a cool, ventilated place out of direct sunlight; never store the gloves damp or wet
- Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, solvents, thinners, cleaning agents, fuels and direct heat or fire
- When new or damp, dyed leather may transfer some colour to the hands; this is natural and eases over time and use
- The product-name print and printed elements wear gradually with normal use; the glossy knuckle protector and palm slider may pick up scratches — cosmetic and normal. Following this guidance helps maintain the gloves through their service life
