Whether your bike has a non-tapered or tapered handlebar, the mounting hardware can fit both types with diameters ranging from 22mm to 28mm without the worry buying additional adapters or fitment 

To make installation faster and more convenient, the main components of the Defender Pro Handguards come pre-assembled in the box. This includes the aluminium spine, the protective plastic shroud, the wind deflector, and the FAST-R slider. Pre-assembly reduces the number of steps required during setup and helps ensure that the parts are correctly aligned. Along with the detailed installation guide, this makes the setup process simple, even if you're installing handguards for the first time.

The modular FAST-R slider is mounted at the outermost point of the aluminium spine, designed to provide maximum slide protection during falls or impacts. Its modular design allows for easy replacement of the slider if damaged, offering enhanced convenience and durability.

To save installation time; the spine, shroud, deflector and slider come pre-assembled in the box.

To extend our commitment to rider protection and long-term support, the Defender Pro Handguards are backed by a 2-Year Crash Replacement Program. If the shroud, wind deflector, or FAST-R slider are damaged in a crash, you can claim the replacement for the damaged parts on one side of the handguards. The program covers up to 2 claims within 2 years from the original date of purchase.

In a feature exclusive to the Rynox Defender Pro Handguards, Cerros Impact Foam, engineered to absorb and disperse energy from impacts; is integrated between the aluminium spine and the outer shroud. This high-performance foam acts as a buffer, significantly reducing the amount of force transferred to the handlebar and ultimately, to the rider’s hands.

The aluminium spine is the most important part of the Defender Pro Handguards. It acts like the backbone of the entire setup, giving the handguards their shape, strength, and durability. Made from high-strength automotive grade aluminium, the spine is designed to absorb impact in the event of a fall or collision and  protects the riders hands, and rider controls  from rocks, branches, and other obstacles on or off the road.

The spine and clamps, critical structural components of the Defender Pro Handguards, are made from high-strength aluminium, a material selected for its high strength-to-weight ratio and long term durability under repetitive stresses. 

The Defender Pro Handguards feature a modular design that allows you to adapt the setup based on riding conditions and personal preferences. Key components including wind deflector and FAST-R slider are designed to be adjustable, removable, or replaceable.

• The wind deflector offers increased wind protection when attached and can be removed for better airflow or a more compact setup on technical terrain.
• The FAST-R slider, mounted at the outermost point of the handguard, provides additional slide protection and is replaceable in case of damage from a crash.
