The LS2 Sepang is built to be the one jacket that covers most of the year, not just summer or just winter. It's water-resistant, insulated when you need it, and ventilated when you don't, which is the trade-off a mesh-only jacket like the Garda doesn't try to make.
The shell is durable Polyester 600D, waterproofed to 5000mm H2O with a breathability rating of 3000g/m2/24h, so it sheds rain without trapping sweat inside. A removable thermal lining handles colder mornings and evenings, so you're not stuck choosing between a summer jacket and a winter one.
Protection is removable CE SAFE TECH certified armour at the shoulder (434) and elbow (535), both EN1621-1:2012 Level 2, adjustable between two elbow positions, plus a Level 1 chest protector included. It's compatible with LS2's 851 back protector, sold separately. The jacket is CE certified Class A (EN17092-4:2020).
Everyday details: back and arm ventilation for when the liner comes out, a neoprene comfort collar, velcro adjustment at the cuff, arm and waist, reflective strips, and storage across two hand pockets plus a Napoleon chest pocket.
