Axor X Altor Apex Venomous Smart Bluetooth Helmet

Quick Overview

The Axor X-Altor Apex Venomous takes the Apex shell you already know and builds Bluetooth connectivity straight into it, instead of asking you to bolt on a separate intercom unit afterward. It’s aimed at riders who want hands-free calls, music, and navigation without reaching for their phone at every red light.

Control happens through the Altor Smart Swipe panel on the left side of the helmet. A swipe answers or rejects calls and plays or pauses music, and the same gesture invokes your phone’s voice assistant so you can ask for directions or change a song without taking a hand off the bars. Turn-by-turn navigation plays directly through the helmet’s built-in speakers, and the system runs on Bluetooth 5.2 for a stable connection with your phone.

Battery life is built for full riding days rather than short errands. You get up to 12 to 14 hours of continuous use covering calls, music, and navigation together, with music playback alone rated up to 25 hours and standby lasting over 100 hours. A full charge takes about 2 hours using the included magnetic charging cable, and the module is water-resistant, so it can handle a ride through light rain without issue.

The helmet itself carries the same protection as the rest of the Apex range. That means an ABS shell, ISI, DOT, and ECE 22.06 certification, a scratch and UV resistant polycarbonate visor with quick-release, and a micrometric buckle for a secure, adjustable fit. It weighs 1500 grams plus or minus 50 grams, in line with other Apex helmets despite the added electronics, and ventilation runs through one mouth vent and two top vents.

The box includes the helmet, a magnetic charging cable, a quick start guide, and a warranty card, so there’s nothing extra to source before you’re set up. It comes in Black Blue and Black Grey, and EMI options are available at checkout.

Before you buy your first helmet with built-in electronics, it’s worth getting the fit right first. Our guide to choosing a properly fitting helmet covers how a helmet should sit and why a loose fit can throw off gesture recognition on a helmet like this one.
