Italian motorcycle builder Vyrus have just announced the Vyrus Aylen 988, is a futuristic-looking sportsbike/naked, that takes the Vyrus concept to the next level.
At its heart is the 1298cc, L-twin engine from the older generation Ducati Panigale. The bike comes with a hub-centre steering set up, held in place by two burly front swingarms. The entire steering system is controlled by a series of complex linkages which helps to transmit the riders action to the front wheel.
The bike has quite unconventional looks right from the funky end, the self-suspended bodywork and fuel tank, carbon fibre exhausts etc.
As for the price of this Carbon Fibre behemoth beauty, there’s no official price announced. But looking at the previous Vyrus bikes, it is expected to be priced around the $90k (Rs69,00,000) mark.
