Honda manages to sell 21,000 Two-wheelers since lockdown relaxations
Since the re-opening of its retail outlets Honda managed to sell 21,000 units off motorcycles and scooters in India.
According to Honda, over 40 per cent of its dealerships along with 30 per cent of total touchpoints have re-opened post lockdown relaxation. The re-opened dealerships and touchpoints have to adhere to the social distancing and sanitizing guidelines issued by the Government of India. Honda also added that it managed to service nearly 2.5 lakh units for its customers across India. This comes as a good news for the dealers who had to shut their service centers for than a month. Through service, Honda’s dealers will be able to make some money and cut some of their losses. Throwing more light on the matter, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “In these challenging times, Honda 2Wheelers India is cautiously moving forward synergizing with the new ecosystem. Safeguarding the health & well-being, Honda network is well equipped & geared up to delight customers."
“With ready availability of six of India’s favorite BS 6 products, we are seeing increasing take off in retails by the day. Growing numbers of vehicles reporting at our touch points for servicing is a testimony to customers’ trust & assurance in Honda and our network readiness to serve them while taking care of new hygiene & social distancing norms." Guleria added.
