KTM India has just recently announced that it will be extending its Warranty and Free service period till June 30. Taking in account of the 21 day nationwide lockdown this decision has been taken. This will help and allow the customers to avail their free services that were due, because of the lockdown and the warranty will be extended on those products which might have expired during this lockdown period.
KTM is not the first company to extend its free service and warranty duration due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Manufacturers like TVS, Honda, Yamaha, and Bajaj have also extended their free service and warranty deadlines.
KTM also announced that this year they won’t be taking part in the EICMA and INTERMOT due to the COVID-19 outbreak. BMW Motorrad too had announced the same; the decision has been taken considering the safety of people. Many events already are getting cancelled or postponed across the world; there is a high chance that EICMA and INTERMOT won’t take place this year.
