Over the past decade the Indian motorcycle market has seen strong developments in the naked bike segment. Naked bikes provide a combination of versatility, engaging ride, and comfortable riding dynamic as opposed to their sport bike counterparts. This results in impeccable value for money, and a jack of all trades machine.

Coming June, Indian customers will be able to buy 2020 Triumph Street Triple R in India. The previous Iteration of the Sreet Triple R was never launched in India. Out of all three Street Triple options, Street Triple R presents itself as a mid tier option, packing more of a punch than the S, but missing out on a few bells and whistles, such as the TFT display and additional riding modes found in the RS.

The Triumph Street Triple R still will get ton of features, up and down quick-shifter, fully adjustable Showa suspension, Brembo M4.32 brakes, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires. However its lack of sophisticated electronics puts it at a considerable disadvantage against its main rival, the KTM 790 Duke.

As for its pricing, the bike is expected to be priced competitively. Though official figures are not out yet, it is expected to be priced around Rs 9.6 lakh. In comparison, the 790 Duke is priced around Rs 8.63 lakh. This makes the Triumph  significantly more expensive.
